Fun Walk/Run Fundraiser

The KCC held its first fun run/walk led by personal fitness trainer Kate Meier. The children voted on a cause and chose to purchase picture dictionaries for the Refugee Support Services in Charlotte. These dictionaries are used in their English classesThe children asked sponsors to donate through a wishlist on Amazon.com. On the morning of the run, crew members walked/ran a mile together. We were able to purchase 3 new dictionaries at a cost of $68 each! Thank you to everyone who donated, and a big thank you to Kate for leading the way!
