Crayon Drive

Since May, we’ve been collecting broken, well-loved crayons for a summer recycling event. On July 29, we’ll sort the crayons during our “Colorful Crayons and Cards” event, then send them to The Crayon Initiative. This nonprofit group will melt down the crayons and make new, triangular crayons (that won’t roll off hospital trays!) to be distributed to children’s hospitals.  

We are CONTINUING TO COLLECT USED CRAYONS. You can drop them off at any KCC event at the Del Webb Library through Monday, June 29 or reach out to us, and we will be happy to give you a local address for drop-off or arrange pick-up from local areas!
