KCC Birthday Celebration

We celebrated the Kindness Confetti Crew’s 11th summer serving our community on Monday by participating in two service activities to help local children celebrate their own birthdays!

Did you know you can replace the egg and oil in a cake recipe with a can of Sprite? It is an easy way to create a complete shelf-stable birthday kit! We made 55 birthday cake kits to donate to the Bel Air Food Pantry. Each kit included a cake mix, frosting, Sprite, birthday candles, directions, a birthday card colored by our volunteers, and the cake pan!

We also assembled 100 party favor bags for Bright Blessings. Each bag included fruit snacks, a pen, a notebook, a fidget spinner, stickers, and a squishy.
