Operation: Sandwich

This Kindness Confetti project was spread out over two weeks as we prepared a special meal for 100 of our community members who receive support from the Roof Above shelter in Uptown Charlotte.

On July 8, KCC welcomed lots of friends - new and returning - and we made uplifting notes and friendship bracelets.

At our meeting on July 15, we made 200 peanut butter sandwiches, and then packed 100 lunches, each with 2 sandwiches, chips, cookies, a fruit cup, water… AND a friendship bracelet and encouraging note made with love!

Our co-leaders, Savannah and Molly, delivered the lunches as soon as our event ended. We are so grateful to everyone who donated supplies and came out to help. We love our community!
