Camps: Caring for our Environment

Recently, our co-leaders visited Lancaster Parks & the Recreation Day Camp!

We taught the young people at these camps about why bees are important to our environment.

After the lesson, everyone had a chance to make seed bombs using clay, a little dirt, and sunflower seeds to help our local bee population. They took their seed bombs home to dry. Then they’ll toss them anywhere outside to plant sunflowers that will allow bees to keep pollinating our community!
