Lunches of Love

On Monday, 52 Kindness Confetti Crew members gathered to pack 100 lunches for the Roof Above Shelter in one hour!

Working together, they made over 200 bologna and cheese sandwiches. Each lunch also included a bottle of water, chips, a sweet treat, a fruit cup, utensils, condiments, a friendship bracelet made at our Family Volunteer Event, and a cheerful note written at last week’s crayon event.

Since we finished earlier than expected, several families stayed and helped us complete the sunshine door decorations that we began at the Family Volunteer Saturday Event.

KCC leaders delivered the lunches to the Roof Above Shelter immediately after the event. While in Uptown, they were also able to deliver the sunshine door decorations to the Ronald McDonald House in Charlotte.and came to help. We couldn't do it without you!!
